HOW TO ARRIVE AT NEWMAN HOUSEBY RAILThe nearest station is University station. This is a local station on the Lichfield to Redditch line. Trains to University station leave frequently from Birmingham New Street Station (two stops in the direction of Redditch/Longbridge). From the station the only way to come to Newman House is on foot. Turn right out of the station, at the roundabout turn right again (Vincent Drive). Walk for about 400 metres, to the crossroads. Turn left to walk up Pritchatts Road for about 400 metres. At the next crossroads, turn left on to Somerset Road and walk for about 100 metres. Take the first road right. This is Harrisons Road. The Chaplaincy is 50 metres on the left. Alternatively, there are taxis available from outside the main entrance to New Street Station. The taxi journey is about 10 minutes and costs about £10.

BY ROADFrom the M6 North/South/central Birmingham: Leave the motorway at junction 6, following signs for City Centre A38M. Follow A38M and continuation of A38 through central Birmingham. Continue on the A38 until the signpost right for University of Birmingham (about two miles out of central Birmingham). After taking the turning continue up Edgbaston Park Road for about 250 metres, and then turn left on to Pritchatts Road, continue for about half a mile over the narrowing in the road, and straight over the first mini roundabout. At the second mini roundabout turn left on to Somerset Road, and then first right, Harrisons Road. The Chaplaincy is on the left.
