CathSoc exists to provide Catholic fellowship and support throughout your time at university. Although we are a Catholic society, we welcome everybody. Together we not only organise and enjoy our social events, but we also actively engage with our Faith, keeping the Church relevant to life in 2009.

We also host a wide range of social activities after evening mass each Sunday and also on some weeknights. These are great for meeting new friends and having a good time. These include our world famous BBQs, talks, nights out, days out, and more food, and the odd drink. The social highlight of our year is the annual Summer Charity Dinner, at which we celebrate the end of the year and the end of exams.

Cathsoc also organises an annual Retreat for students. This gives us an opportunity to be together for a whole weekend at a retreat centre or Abbey away from it all, hear some great talks, and have a real time of renewal in our spiritual lives.
