Our University student-led St. Vincent de Paul (or SVP for short) group is all about putting faith into practice, and getting involved in practical outreach in the community. The group enables members to get involved in visiting the local cancer hospice, helping out with projects to serve the homeless, and befriending the elderly. The more people who join, the more opportunities for service can be pursued.
The group meets on Tuesdays at 6.00pm in Sr. Anna's office in St. Francis Hall on the campus. These meetings enable members to share their experiences with each other, and to raise any problems, and to pray for the projects.
